Comments: This is dedicated to the AGTI Champions of 2007 - The 247th DLSU Naval ROTC Unit! This covers the journey of the batch through their different "evolutions"... from landlubbers who can't crush an egg with their bare hands... to salty sea creatures who can lift M-14 rifles for hours like they were as light as lingerie! Why did I choose the song "Into The Ocean?" It's about a guy who jumped from a ship's bow... and the song is about his thoughts as he tries to swim to the shore... It alludes to the midshipman/mids graduating from ROTC and now he/she fell "into the ocean"... trying to swim back... only to realize that he/she is drowning (in sorrow) because there is no way to make it... back (to the friends and fun times)... The person tries to swim to shore to avoid death... he is torn on whether he should continue swimming or sink and die (let the hurricane set in motion... let the rain of what I feel right now come down...) but in the end... he drowns... (into the ocean end it all)... but it was only a dream... though the pain is the same... (the loss of one he/she loves)... to be "into the ocean"... out of the ship... out of ROTC... into the ocean end it all... into the ocean end it all... into the ocean end it all...
