Comments: I came across a rather unusual recording of this well-known tune. Recently, several sublime videos by this orchestra have been uploaded, and I thought this one would illustrate another aspect of this top class ensemble. The present recording, featuring vocals by Hoagy Carmichael (the composer of the song), was made for Victor on November 18th, 1927.
